Zodiac UV Blockout helps protect your pool’s chlorine from being broken down by sunlight. Commonly known as “sunscreen for swimming pools”, this stabiliser helps reduce chlorine loss caused by UV rays, allowing chlorine to remain effective for longer and helping maintain properly sanitised pool water.

Features & Benefits
• Reduces chlorine loss caused by UV sunlight.
• Helps maintain effective chlorine levels for longer.
• Supports consistent pool sanitisation.
• Suitable for use as part of a regular pool water maintenance routine.

Application & Dosage
• Dosage: Add 200g per 10,000L of pool water.
• Increases cyanuric acid levels by approximately 20ppm per 10,000L.
• Clean or backwash the filter and empty the skimmer and pump baskets before application.
• For sand filters, add granules directly to the skimmer basket with the pump running.
• Run the pump for at least 8 hours after application.
• Avoid cleaning or backwashing the filter for at least 48 hours to allow the product to dissolve fully.
• For cartridge filters, dissolve the product in a bucket of water before adding it to the pool to help prevent blockage.

Helpful Tips
• Test your pool water regularly to maintain the correct chemical balance.
• Do not allow cyanuric acid levels to exceed 100ppm (100mg/L).
• Check existing stabiliser levels before adding more product to avoid over-stabilising the pool.
