Virbac Ultimum® is a broad-spectrum, long-acting horse wormer and boticide gel containing moxidectin and praziquantel. It treats and controls tapeworms, susceptible roundworms, bots and certain skin parasites, including encysted small strongyles. Its long-lasting action helps reduce strongyle egg contamination of pasture when used as part of a strategic worming program.

Application & Dosage
• Formulation: Oral gel.

• Dose according to the horse's accurately determined bodyweight and the registered product label.
• Treats horses weighing up to 700kg per syringe.
• For horses weighing over 700kg, refer to the product instructions for the correct dose.
• Follow veterinary advice when treating horses with suspected high burdens of encysted small strongyles or horses with an unknown worming history.

Helpful Tips
• Ultimum® may be recommended in late autumn or early spring for horses suspected of carrying a high burden of encysted small strongyles.
• It may also be suitable for new horses arriving on a property with an unknown worming history. Consult your veterinarian about an appropriate quarantine worming program, particularly for horses under 2 years of age.
• Use faecal egg counts and veterinary advice to help guide treatment decisions and manage resistance.
• Do not underdose. Always read and follow the registered product label.
• Storage: Store below 30°C at room temperature.
